Stamford & District Bowls League

The Stamford & District Bowls League was founded in 1967; it had a single division of teams competing against one another.

As the number of clubs and teams participating increased, a second division was formed in 1985, and a third division in 1996. The league continues to compete in 3 divisions to the present day. The exceptions, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, were 2020, when there was no league play, and 2021, when there was a reduced league with 2 divisions.
