Oakham Bowls Club

The Vale, Oakham , Rutland, LE15 6JQ

One of the oldest bowls clubs in the area and, with 69 full playing members, 8 social and 34 associate members, probably one of the largest in terms of numbers.  For the 2025 season.  Oakham A team will play in Division 1 of the Stamford & District Bowls League and Oakham Delta will play in Division 2.  

In last season's league Oakham A finished 5th in Division 1, and Oakham Delta 5th in Division 2.  Captain of the A team is Graham Scothern. Captain of the Delta team is Clive Morris.

This highly active club, situated in The Vale, also plays friendly matches on Thursdays and Saturdays, runs Chummy mornings on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, and holds various fund-raising activities throughout the year.  Their 2025 Open Day will be held on Saturday 17th May.
