Oakham Bowls Club

The Vale, Oakham , Rutland, LE15 6JQ

One of the oldest bowls clubs in the area and, with 76 playing members, 40 social and associate members, probably one of the largest in terms of numbers.  For the 2024 season,  Oakham A team will play in Division 1 of the Stamford & District Bowls League and Oakham Delta will play in Division 2.  The Oakham Owls team has been disbanded.

In last season's league Oakham A finished fifth in Division 1, Oakham D finished 5th in Division 2 with the Owls finishing ninth in Division 2.  From 2024, Oakham D will be known as Oakham Delta.

This highly active club, situated in The Vale, also plays friendly matches on Thursdays and Saturdays, runs Chummy mornings on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, and holds various fund-raising activities throughout the year.  Their 2024 Open Day will be held on Saturday 18th May.
