Duncomb Shield
The Duncomb Shield was first awarded in 1947. It was competed for intermittently over the next twenty years, then in 1967 it was adopted by the newly-formed Stamford & District Bowls League. The Duncomb Shield has been awarded every year since then, with the exceptions of 2020 and 2021, when competitions were cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
